As an educator, I take student assessment seriously – Using data to drive instruction helps educators to understand learning gaps, student strengths, and where to bolster reinforcement. These are the reasons I have served on the State Network of Educators (SNE) since 2015. A dedicated group of trained educators works with the Smarter Balanced assessment system. We contribute to Tools for Teachers, which provides differentiated lessons and activities that help teachers support student learning with a comprehensive suite of standards-aligned tools and resources.
